Biblical Wellness and Healing

The Bible speaks of wellness and healing in many places. Here are some to read and considser.

Hosea 4:6 ; My People are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Proverbs 4:20-22 ; Learn of my words / ways , bind them to your heart , for they are life to those who find them & health to all their flesh.

Proverbs 3:7-8 ; Don’t be wise in your own eyes , fear the lord & shun evil , this will bring health to your body & nourishment to your bones.

Proverbs 14:30 ; A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body , but jealousy is like cancer in the bones.

Proverbs 17:22 ; A merry or cheerful heart works good like a medicine , but a broken or crushed spirit dry’s the bones.

Proverbs 14:15 ; The simpleton believes every word he hears , but a wise man considers how he will proceed.

Proverbs 15:4 ; A gentle tongue with its healing power.

Proverbs 18:9 ; He who is loose & slack in his work is brother to him who is a destroyer , & he that does not use his endeavors to heal himself , is brother to him who commits suicide.

Proverbs 21:17 ; He who loves pleasure will be a poor man , & he who loves wine & oil will not be rich.

Proverbs 15:10 ; There is severe discipline for him who forsakes Gods way , & he who hates reproof { Correction } will die physically , morally , spiritually.

James 2:26 ; Faith apart from works of obedience is dead.

James 3:2 ; If any man offend not in word , he is fully developed in character & is a perfect man & able to tame the whole body.

James 5:6 ; Confess your sins to each other & pray for each other so you may be healed.

James 3:16 ; Where jealousy & selfishness are there will be confusion & every kind of evil.
